Dog sledding tour in Kirkenes

Take a dog sledding tour and have a truly nordic wilderness experience! A professional dog musher will take you out onto the fjord ice while you ride on the sled behind a team of trained huskies.

This tour includes transfer from Scandic Kirkenes Hotel and is a full Arctic dog sledding adventure!

Once you’re warmly dressed for the great outdoors, you’ll meet the huskies in the dog yard and get ready to go sledding into the wild. This tour is approximately 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) and passes by beautiful, lightly forested wilderness.

You’ll experience the breathtaking beauty of Northern Norway as you travel over ice and snow on a dog sled pulled by huskies. You’ll be driven by a professional dog musher with two people per sled. If conditions allow, you may have the chance to drive the sled yourself!
