Trolltunga Ultimate Adventure

Imagine enjoying the sunset on Trolltunga after having climbed up yourself! This is the most unique Trolltunga experience we offer. This tour combines the thrilling Via Ferrata climb with an overnight stay in a comfortable Arctic dome. Enjoy the luxury of a see-through ceiling, allowing you to gaze at the stars while immersed in the sounds of Norwegian nature. 

Meeting point and gear 

Meet your guide at P2 parking in Skjeggedal. We’ll start with a scenic one-hour walk along a lake before tackling a steep 1 km path to the Via Ferrata. After a brief rest and safety instructions, the real adventure begins. 

Starting the climb 

As you climb, the views only get better. You’ll see the blue waters of Ringedalsvatnet, the surrounding valley, and the distant Folgefonna Glacier. 

Reaching the arctic domes and Trolltunga 

After about two hours of climbing, we’ll reach the Arctic domes, where you can relax with a hot or cold drink. From here, we’ll hike the final stretch to Trolltunga. By this time, most other hikers will have left, allowing us to enjoy the view in peace. Imagine enjoying the sunset on Trolltunga after having climbed up yourself – a sense of achievement like no other! 

Evening and overnight 

Return to the dome for a delicious dinner. Spend the evening enjoying conversations, playing games, or simply watching the colors change in the evening sky. 

Morning at Trolltunga 

Wake up refreshed and either revisit Trolltunga while your guide prepares breakfast or sleep in and wake up to fresh coffee. After breakfast, we’ll pack up and hike back to civilization, aiming to return by 2-3 PM.
