Tromsø Silent Whale Watching Cruise

This tour is a whale watchers dream. Get a unique view of humpback whales and Orcas as they feed in the herring-rich fjords outside of Tromsø.

Departing the city in the crisp arctic morning air, you are headed for the feeding grounds of Orcas and Humpback whales. On the way there you can relax while taking in the beautiful views of the Tromsø fjords and the winter covered landscape of Northern Norway.

Once you get to the destination the captain will start searching for the whales. You will arrive when the sun is at its ‘highest’ in time to enjoy the few hours of polar daylight that the winter season gives us.

Sometimes it can take a while to spot them, but the guides have some good tricks up their sleeve. While searching the guides will share stories from the area you are in, and of course, since you are on a whale watching tour, information about these beautiful and fascinating marine mammals.

Once the whales have been spotted the boat will be switched to its silent electric engine to protect the animals by minimizing disturbance while visiting them in their natural habitat.
