About the trip

Join us for a night on Norway’s third-largest glacier. Our unique campsite offers traditional Scandinavian tents, where you’ll experience the essence of Arctic life. As you settle in, enjoy a comforting dinner by the fire, surrounded by the stunning glacier landscape. Walk around the camp, meet the huskies, and connect with nature like never before. Our campsite feels like a scene from a movie, offering a one-of-a-kind experience.

Meeting time and place

Your adventure begins just outside the entrance to the Fonna Glacier Ski Resort, where your guide will greet you. You will need to walk for 30 minutes to one hour to reach the camp. Note that a toll fee of 100 NOK per vehicle is required to access the resort, which includes parking and helps maintain the road.

  • Warm clothes (wool base layer, warm jacket, wool sweater, coveralls, warm gloves and hat etc.)
  • Sunglasses

  • Sunscreen

The weather on Folgefonna Glacier can change rapidly. It’s essential to bring enough warm clothing, sunscreen, and sunglasses to ensure your comfort and safety.
