Exploring the fjord and Preikestolen gliding through the waters on a boat is something special.

Join the brand new quiet all electric boat on a cruise to explore the mysterious Fantahålå (Vagabond’s Cave). The boat will carefully nudge its bow at the Hengjane Falls where you can feel the spray of mountain waters.

From the fjord you get a unique view of the towering Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) carved out by glaciers over 10,000 years ago. Admire the majestic rock formation reaching high into the sky above the Lysefjord.

Enjoy the striking scenery along Norway’s southernmost fjord from the comfort of the boat, or step out onto the spacious sundeck. You will have access to Norwegian and English audio guide on board.

Sights on the trip

  • Local wildlife along the Lysefjord

Rest your eyes from looking at the stunning attractions, and keep an eye out for sea eagles, peregrine falcons, porpoises, seals and goats grazing on the steep mountain slopes.

  • Vagabond’s Cave

This gorgeous cove with dramatic cliffs surrounded by an aqua-marine pool, apparently got its name from a group of vagabonds who for months sought shelter there trying to escape the local police. The cove is only accessible from the water, and the boat will get you close.

  • Preikestolen from the fjord

Towering an impressive 604 metres (1981 ft) above the Lysefjord, this striking rock formation is found on the bucket list to people across the world. From sea level you get a unique perspective of the majestic Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) reaching for the sky above the incredible Lysefjord.

  • Hengjane Falls

The catamaran will drive right up to Hengjane Falls. The waterfall springs out from the steep mountainside at a height of 400 metres (1300 ft). It's popular to taste the pure mountain water that's pouring down.
