Fjord Cruise and Guided Preikestolen Hike Winter

Experience Preikestolen from the fjord and the mountain! This day trip combines a fjord cruise on the stunning Lysefjord with a guided winter hike to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock).

The fjord cruise sails from Stavanger to the Lysefjord, past the mysterious Vagabond’s Cave (Fantahålå), beautiful landscapes of rocky shores and snow capped mountain peaks. 

The boat turns at Hengjane waterfall, where you can feel the spray of mountain water (if its not frozen to ice)

You will depart the cruise at Forsand where a mountain guide will transport you to the starting point of the Preikestolen hike. The hike takes about 2 hours each way. Crampons and headlamps are provided when needed.

Remember to pack food, water, warm clothes and proper hiking boots.

The return trip to Stavanger is by minibus, and the guide will drive you to your hotel.
