Join us for a genuine wilderness adventure at Camp Tamok. Your journey begins in Tromsø’s city center, from where a scenic 90-minute bus ride will take you to Camp Tamok. Here, we’ll equip you with warm winter clothing and all necessary equipment for your reindeer sledding adventure. The experience commences with a brief minibus transfer to our Sami Camp, away from the lively huskies.

Your evening at the Sami Camp is filled with cultural immersion and activities. You’ll partake in reindeer sledding, learn the art of lasso throwing, hear fascinating tales about Sami culture, and have the unique opportunity to feed the reindeer.

Following your enriching time with the indigenous Sami people, you’ll return to Camp Tamok. A warm, delicious meal awaits you around the crackling open fire inside a traditional reindeer herder’s tent. As the day winds down, you’ll have time to relax and warm up before heading back to Tromsø, carrying with you memories of an extraordinary experience.

Food and Beverages:
Enjoy a complimentary traditional Norwegian soup or stew, featuring fresh vegetables with your choice of meat or fish. Accompanying your meal are bread, coffee, tea, and water.

We cater to all dietary needs. Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. Please note, a fee of 150 NOK applies if no notice is given in advance.

What to Bring:
Prepare for the cold by dressing in warm winter clothes and layering to adjust to changing weather conditions. Don’t forget a scarf for extra warmth in colder weather.
