Before visiting the Cider House, you may have thought every cider was the same. This tasting introduces you to the spectrum of tastes and styles from light and easy to heavy tannin-infused and more.

When you visit this cidery in the oldest fruit-growing region in Norway, you’ll have the chance to taste the spectrum of flavors found in 5 distinct ciders. This 90-minute experience begins with a tour of an organic orchard where you’ll learn the basics of growing apples before stepping into the glass Cider House overlooking the Sognefjord for your tasting.

While you’re visiting, you’ll learn about the local traditions of growing apples, all the way from the 1100s till today, and see how it all begins with small cuttings that transform into mighty trees under Balestrand’s unique fjord light.
