Hardangerfjord
Surrounded by towering cliffs and lush mountain sides the Hardangerfjord is a masterpiece of nature. Stretching for 179km (111mi), it's the second largest fjord in Norway and the fourth largest in the world.
Folgefonna Welcoming Centre
Make sure to check out the brand new welcoming centre located at the foot of the ski lift. It was completed and opened in the summer of 2020. On the inside you will find restrooms, wardrobes, a shop and a restaurant.
Folgefonna National Park
Folgefonna National Park was established in 2005 to preserve the unique flora and fauna in the area. The glacier has dug out deep valleys and rivers flooding with icegreen melt water.
Folgefonna Glacier
Folgefonna is the third largest glacier in Norway. It has been a popular tourist attraction since the 1830s. At its thickest, the ice measures 400 meters (1,300 ft). The melt-water from the glacier i bottled to form the product Isklar (bottled water)
Glacier skiing
With a ski lift mounted directly on the ice, this alpine ski resort is something out of the ordinary. Summer skiing has been a popular activity here for more than 20 years. During your tour you get to spend 4 hours skiing on the glacier.

Included Skiing Equipment
In addition to your ski pass rental skis, ski boots and a helmet are included in your ticket.
Food
Meals are not included on this trip. Food and beverages can be purchased on the fjord cruise and at Folgefonna Ski Resort.
Meeting Point
Meeting point at Bergen Bus Station, Platform O. Please meet 15 minutes before departure.
Ski Clothes
Bring a water-and-windproof jacket, sunglasses, hat, gloves and ski pants.
Fjord Cruise Clothing
The fjords can be windy, so bring a windproof jacket and extra layers of clothing. Use comfortable footwear for walking when the boat is in motion.
