This tour begins at the activity centre in Ålesund city, where you’ll receive your equipment and safety instructions for the day.
You’ll then enjoy a guided kayak tour through Brosundet, crossing over Aspevågen to Slinnings Point where a large bonfire is lit every midsummer's eve.
Lastly, you’ll begin hiking towards Mt. Sukkertoppen. While it may begin in a sleepy forest, once you reach 300 m (984 ft) above sea level you’ll break above the trees and discover a stunning panoramic view of the city of Ålesund and the North Sea far below. Take a few minutes to admire the Sunnmøre Alps and the fjords before carrying on across the ridge.
