Experience the Arctic night

Explore Finnmarksvidda, Europe’s largest mountain plateau, by snowmobile. Feel the excitement as you drive through snowy forests and open plains, with the chance to see the Northern Lights illuminating the sky.

Upon arrival, you will receive warm clothes and boots. Following a safety briefing and snowmobile demonstration, you will drive in pairs with the option to switch places. The route takes you through the Beskades Mountain range, at the edge of Finnmarksvidda. The adventure lasts around 2 hours, depending on weather and snow conditions.

The journey

Our evening ride might reveal the Northern Lights or a stunning Arctic night sky. While the tour isn’t focused solely on the lights, the dark winter evening offers a great opportunity to witness them. After mid-March, you may instead see spectacular sunsets.

No prior experience is needed to drive a snowmobile. A regular driver’s license is required.

• Wear warm clothes and shoes based on the weather forecast.
• A valid B class driver’s license is required to drive.
• Minimum age for passengers is 12.
• Not recommended for those with back problems or pregnant women.
• Weather may affect the itinerary; safety is our priority.

Our guides will do their best to find the Northern Lights, but sightings are not guaranteed.

What you need to bring: Woolen underlayer, woolen socks (can be borrowed if needed), warm clothes, warm shoes, sunglasses, driver’s license.
