About the Preikestolen hike:

Once you get to Preikestolen BaseCamp you will have 5 hours to hike to Preikestolen and back to catch the bus to Stavanger.

The Preikestolen hike is moderately difficult. Once you reach the uniquely shaped rock that towers 604 m (1980 ft) over Lysefjord, you will be rewarded with jaw-dropping views. There is a reason why this is among the most popular hikes in all of Norway.

About the Kjerag hike:

The bus departs from Stavanger in the morning and takes you directly to Øygardsstøl, which is the starting point for your hike. You have 6 hours to complete the hike before your bus takes you back to Stavanger.

At 1,084 meters above sea level, Kjerag is the highest peak in the Lysefjord and home to the world-famous boulder Kjeragbolten or Kjerag Boulder wedged in a mountain crevice 1,000 m (3280 ft) above sea level.

It is a challenging hike, but you will know you made the right choice when you’re rewarded with the incredible scenery waiting for you when you see Kjeragbolten high above the sparkling, turquoise Lysefjord. Some people are happy just enjoying the view. The most daring step out onto the boulder itself.
