It's time to review and book your trip
We look forward to having you with us!
Preikestolen

Towering 604 meters (1981ft.) above sea level, the glacial rock formation that makes up Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock), is among the most popular attractions in Norway. The hiking destination has been named one of the world's most spectacular viewing points by both CNN and Lonely Planet.

Hiking Terrain

There are plenty of beautiful spots to rest along the trail of this hiking trip. Cool down with a swim in one of the mountain waters. Appreciate the change in scenery as you ascend beyond the treetops and get a panoramic view of the Lysefjord.

Lysefjord from above

Preikestolen is beautifully suspended above the Lysefjord 600 m (1968 ft) below. End to end the Lysefjord measures 42 km (26mi). The steep rocky walls along its sides are made of lightly colored granite, and gives the fjord its name, as ‘lys’ means light.

Ryfast sub-sea tunnel

The bus will pass through the brand new tunnel in both directions. This is the longest sub-sea tunnel in the world. With a length of 14,3km (8,8mi) it is well ahead of its predecessor, the Tokyo Bay Tunnel in Japan.

Neverdal Ravine

Once a greater challenge for hikers, the Neverdal Ravine used to be a challenging point to ascend on the path to Preikestolen. Built with the superpowers and ancient knowledge of the Nepalese Sherpas, the ravine now boasts a granite stairway at your service.

Tjødnane

Around the halfway mark of the trail you pass Tjødnane - a couple of small mountain lakes. On hot summer days some hikers like to go for a dip in the cold, yet to some, refreshing water.

Preikestolen Express bus

Our pink tour bus are easy to spot and offer a comfortable ride. We offer a quick and easy service, so you can focus on the hike.
