Immerse yourself in the thrilling world of snowmobiling at Camp Tamok, nestled in the wilderness outside Tromsø. Your adventure begins in Tromsø’s city center, where you’ll embark on a picturesque 90-minute bus ride to our camp.

Upon your arrival at Camp Tamok, we’ll equip you with cozy winter attire and all the essential gear needed for your snowmobiling journey. Our expert guides will then lead you through a comprehensive safety briefing and a hands-on demonstration to ensure you’re comfortable and confident in handling your snowmobile. Partnering up, you’ll navigate the snowy terrain in pairs, with each team sharing a snowmobile and having the chance to switch roles between driver and passenger throughout the excursion.

Once you’ve explored the trails and returned your snowmobiles, a heartwarming experience awaits. Gather around a crackling open fire in a traditional reindeer herder’s tent, where you’ll savor a hot, authentic North Norwegian meal. To enhance the experience, especially during peak season, we may divide the group to maintain a cozy, intimate setting. One half will first indulge in the meal, while the other embarks on their snowmobile adventure, ensuring everyone enjoys the full spectrum of activities.

What to Bring:

• A valid driver’s license is required.
  
• Dress warmly in layers to suit the weather, and consider a scarf for extra warmth in cold conditions.

Important Information about the tour:

• Due to varying terrain, we sometimes reduce speed for safety.
• The time spent snowmobiling may vary based on weather and snow conditions.

Meals and Refreshments:

• Enjoy a complimentary traditional Norwegian soup or stew, with vegetables and your choice of meat or fish.
• Bread, coffee, tea, and water are provided with the meal.

Dietary Needs:

• Inform us of any dietary restrictions or food allergies when booking.
• A fee of 150 NOK will be applied for dietary changes made without prior notice.

Age and Safety Requirements:

• Drivers must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Passengers should be a minimum of 7 years old.
• Each child must have adult supervision.
• To ensure safety, both drivers and passengers need to be at least 130cm tall.
