This tour begins along the Norangsfjorden shoreline in the village of Urke. With every step you take up the mountain, the scenery becomes more beautiful and is one of the most popular hikes in the Hjørundfjorden region.
Once at the top of, enjoy the view of Hjørundfjorden in one direction and over to Mt.Ålesund in the other direction. This hike offers a panoramic view of the fjord and is one of the most spectacular vistas in the area.
In the last few years, the top part of the trail has been improved by Nepalese sherpas. What was once loose rocks is now a stairway built from the existing rock.
