Once aboard the crew will introduce you to the fishing tools and equipment featured on board. You will also learn to gut the fish. Everything you catch is of course yours to take home.
The seasonale fishery (in Norwegian: Lofotfiske) has deep roots in Norway. The season spans from February to April, and attracts fishing boats from the whole country.
The excitement on the fishing grounds and the immense joy of catching fish makes this a winter adventure of a lifetime.
No prior experience is required.
Important on this trip
Footwear
It is key to wear shoes with good soles. Shoes can be rented for NOK 75 if necessary.
Clothing
You will get a flotation suite and waterproof work clothes. Remember warm clothing.
Experienced Crew
The experienced crew is there to assist you every step of the way showing you how to fish and fillet.
Food
Coffee is served on board the fishing boat. You may want to pack a bottle of water and some light snacks.
