Viewing Platform
<p>Get as close as never before to the fierce powers of Vøringsfossen waterfall. The viewing platform is partly suspended beyond the mountain cliffs so you can get a unique perspective of both the waterfall and the winding Måbødalen valley down below.</p>
Norwegian Nature Centre Hardanger
<p>Included in this trip is a ticket to the nature centre. Travel through time from 2.9 billion years ago up until today! With use of interactive exhibitions, fossils, videos and aquariums the centre lets you experience the nature found in the national park.</p>
Vøringsfossen Waterfall
<p>Every second large volumes of water cascade down the 182 meters drop from Hardangervidda mountain plateau into the Måbødalen valley. Vøringsfossen is not the largest waterfall in Norway, but it is among the most visited. </p>
Vøringsfossen Walking Bridge
<p>A walking bridge has become the newest addition (opened in August 2020) to the Vøringsfossen experience. The bridge is made up of 99 stairs that are beautifully suspended 50 meters (164 ft) above the falls bringing you even closer to the powerful waters. </p>
Måbødalen Bus Tour
<p>The road from Eidfjord up to Hardangervidda mountain plateau goes through the Måbødalen valley. From a comfortable seat on the bus you get a good view of the climb up the steep valley consisting of winding roads through tunnels and tight turns. </p>
Fossli Hotel
<p>All the materials for constructing the Art Nouveau style hotel built in the late 1800s close to Vøringsfossen, had to be carried on horseback from Eidfjord up to the top of the hill. The hotel has been family owned for 4 generations. </p>
Important on this trip
Meeting Point
Our electric bus departs from right next to the pier in Eidfjord - in front of the tourist information. It is clearly marked with Go Fjords.
Food
No meals are included in your ticket.
Food and drinks can be purchased at the cafe located at the Norwegian Nature Center and sometimes at a small kiosk at Fossli Hotel (irregular opening hours).
Clothing
Bring a windproof jacket, hat and scarf in case of wind and cold temperatures. Extra clothing is recommended in case the weather turns.

The bus tour from Eidfjord to Vøringsfossen is audio-guided. Listen to facts and stories about the places you drive by.
Ticket is included
Admission to the Norwegian Nature Center Hardanger is included in the ticket.
Time to explore
You have about 50 minutes to admire Vøringsfossen waterfall and explore the area with several view platforms and staircase.
Bus departure
The bus runs at scheduled times. They will not wait if you arrive late.
