Spend a day exploring Nigardsbreen Glacier and learn the history of the Jostedalsbreen. Your experienced guide will review how to use crampons and ice axes so you can enjoy your hike to the fullest.

Discover the power of nature firsthand on this adventure tour! Plan to see ice towers and deep crevasses as you enter the blue ice world of the Nigardsbreen Glacier. This 5.5 hour trip allows for 2.5 hours on the ice so hikers are able to see the most impressive areas of the landscape, including a great view of the snow-covered Jostedalsbreen and the upper part of Nigardsbreen.

This glacier hike is more demanding than shorter glacier hikes offered at Nigardsbreen as it is a challenging and steep route. Hikers must wear clothing that covers the entire body (no shorts or skirts without leggings).
