Alnes

Alnes is a small village located on the north side of Godøya island. From the highest point of the tour you have a panoramic view of the village.

Alnes Lighthouse

Alnes lighthouse is a popular sight for visitors to Ålesund. The iconic lighthouse was built in 1852 to guide fishing boats safely into the harbor of Alnes.

Storhornet is located on Godøya, just a short drive from Ålesund. On days with nice weather you can see the contours of the beautiful art nouveau city from the top of Storhornet.

Meeting Point

The hike starts at Alnes Lighthouse. If you don’t have a car we can arrange a shuttle from the activity center to the starting point for an extra cost.

Clothing

Make sure to wear proper hiking gear including solid hiking shoes.

This hike is suitable for both experienced and inexperienced hikers.

Food

No meals are included so make sure to pack food and water.
