Folgefonna is the third largest glacier in Norway. It has been a popular tourist attraction since the 1830s. At its thickest, the ice measures 400 meters (1,300 ft). The melt-water from the glacier i bottled to form the product Isklar (bottled water)
With a ski lift mounted directly on the ice, this alpine ski resort is something out of the ordinary. Summer skiing has been a popular activity here for more than 20 years. During your tour you get to spend 4 hours skiing on the glacier.
