Tromsø Dog Sledding Tour

Your expedition begins in Tromsø, where you’ll be transported to our serene wilderness hub at Camp Tamok. Upon arrival, we equip you with warm winter clothes and essential gear. Our experts will provide comprehensive safety briefings and demonstrate how to navigate your own sled.

Experience the thrill of dog sledding with our enthusiastic Alaskan huskies. You’ll share a sled with a partner, alternating between being the ‘musher’ (driver) and enjoying the scenic ride. These well-trained dogs are eager to run, yet teamwork is crucial. You’ll actively participate, occasionally helping to push the sled alongside your canine companions.

Throughout the journey, you’ll have opportunities to switch roles, ensuring everyone experiences both guiding and riding the sled. The excursion takes about 90 minutes, varying with snow conditions.

Post-adventure, enjoy a warm meal by an open fire inside a traditional Sami tent. As your exhilarating day of sledding concludes, we return you to Tromsø’s city center, filled with unforgettable memories.
