From the fjord you get a unique view of the towering Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) carved out by glaciers over 10,000 years ago. Admire the majestic rock formation reaching high into the sky above the Lysefjord.
The boat will carefully nudge its bow at the Hengjane Falls where you can feel the spray of mountain waters.

Hengjane Falls
The catamaran will drive right up to Hengjane Falls. The waterfall springs out from the steep mountainside at a height of 400 metres (1300 ft). It's popular to taste the pure mountain water that's pouring down.

Lysefjord
Enjoy the striking scenery of the fjord that end to end the Lysefjord measures 42 km (26mi). The steep rocky walls along its sides are made of lightly colored granite, and gives the fjord its name, as ‘lys’ means light.

Preikestolen from below
Towering an impressive 604 metres (1981 ft) above the Lysefjord, this striking rock formation is found on the bucket list to people across the world. From sea level you get a unique perspective of the majestic Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock).

Fjord wildlife
Rest your eyes from looking at the stunning attractions, and keep an eye out for sea eagles, peregrine falcons, porpoises, seals and goats grazing on the steep mountain slopes.

Vagabond’s Cave (Fantahålå)
This gorgeous cove with dramatic cliffs surrounded by an aqua-marine pool, apparently got its name from a group of vagabonds who for months sought shelter there trying to escape the local police.

Clothing
Bring a windproof jacket, hat and scarf in case of winds and cool temperatures on the fjord cruise. Sunglasses and sunscreen is nice to have at hand.

The meeting point is at Strandkaien, Vågen in Stavanger. Please, make sure to be there 15 minutes before departure.
