Starting from Eidfjord quay, our bus first takes you to the Norwegian Nature Center Hardanger full of interactive exhibitions celebrating the Norwegian nature, climate and environment.
Continuing with a winding and steep drive up Måbødalen valley, the last stop on the tour is Vøringsfossen waterfall. With a dramatic fall of 182 m (597 ft), the true beauty of Vøringsfossen is hard to put into words.
At the end the bus returns you to Eidfjord.

Viewing platform
Get as close as never before to the fierce powers of Voringsfossen waterfall. The viewing platform is partly suspended beyond the mountain cliffs so you can get a unique perspective of both the waterfall and the winding Måbødalen valley down below.

Norwegian Nature Centre Hardanger
Included in this trip is a ticket to the nature centre. Travel through time from 2.9 billion years ago up until today! With use of interactive exhibitions, fossils, videos and aquariums the centre lets you experience the nature found in the national park

Vøringsfossen waterfall
Every second large volumes of water cascade down the 182metres drop from Hardangervidda mountain plateau into the Måbødalen valley. Voringsfossen is not the largest waterfall in Norway, but it is among the most visited.

Måbødalen bus tour
The road from Eidfjord up to the Hardangervidda mountain plateau goes through the Måbødalen valley. From a comfortable seat on the bus you get a good view of the climb up the steep valley consisting of winding roads through tunnels and tight turns.

Fossli Hotel
All the materials for constructing the Art Nouveau style hotel built in the late 1800s close to Vørinsfossen, had to be carried on horseback from Eidfjord up to the top of the hill. The hotel has been family owned for 4 generations.
