You get to enjoy a fjord cruise on Hardangerfjord sailing past fruit orchards, waterfalls and mountains. The boat stops off at a number of picturesque villages along the way.
Upon docking in Eidfjord, your bus is located next to the quay ready to take you through Mobødalen and up to Vøringsfossen. On the way you stop to explore Hardanger Nature Center - an experience center with interactive stations, showcasing rocks, minerals and fossils among others.
The grand finale of the trip is a visit to the truly spectacular Vøringsfossen waterfall! After spending time at Vøringsfossen you will start your picturesque return to Bergen.

Vøringsfossen Waterfall
You have about 45 minutes to admire Vøringsfossen where vast quantities of water plunge down the 182 m (597 ft) drop into the Måbødalen valley. Vøringsfossen is not the largest waterfall in Norway, but it is among the most visited.

Viewing platform
The platform is partly suspended beyond the mountain cliffs offering the chance to get a unique perspective of both the waterfall and the winding Måbødalen Valley below it.

Måbødalen
The 20-minute bus ride from Eidfjord to Vøringsfossen, takes you through Måbødalen, a seven-kilometer-long (4-miles long) narrow, steep and scenic valley. The road is part of the National Scenic Route network in Norway.

Vøringsfossen walking bridge
A walking bridge has become the newest addition (opened in August 2020) to the Vøringsfossen area. The bridge is made up of 99 stairs that are beautifully suspended 50 meters (164 ft) above the falls bringing you even closer to the powerful waters.

Norwegian Nature Centre Hardanger
Travel through time from 2.9 billion years ago up until today. With use of interactive exhibitions, fossils, videos and aquariums the nature centre lets you experience the unique nature and fauna of the Hardangervidda National Park.

Fjord cruise
Lean back and enjoy the beauty of the landscape from the comfortable seats on a modern catamaran. If you want to take a picture or get closer to the beautiful fjord you travel through, step out on the open deck.

Hardangerfjord
Surrounded by towering cliffs and lush mountain sides the Hardangerfjord is a masterpiece of nature. Stretching for 179km (111mi), it's the second largest fjord in Norway and the fourth largest in the world.
